Turns out I had pneumonia for two weeks. Apparently it kills people. I can't imagine that it kills people often. I mean, maybe in the middle ages, or the Soviet Block, or Montana. Anyhow, I survived it. I am working on catching up on two weeks of school.
Also, I have a new dog. Michele wanted it, but we had formerly agreed that the next dog we get will be "mine" so that I have my own puppy to bond with. So by default, I have a dog. That's up to two for Michele and I.
And we're celebrating my birthday tonight. Which is accurate, because my birthday is, well, today.
So all these exciting and debilitating things that are going on may have some impact on the ETF (estimated time of finishing) for the novel. I previously announced the ETF for the end of February. I'd like to keep that accurate, but I don't know if that will be possible, as I'm also about 40 hrs behind at work (in my TA position I set my own hours, so if I miss time I make it up later, so now I'm behind by a lot).
So there's my list of excuses. Take them if you will. Reject them if you want. It doesn't much matter to me.
Thanks.
